The MPD has been taken over by the Consillium and Kit Morris and Lienna Shen are on the run. Kit is desperately trying to master his mythic abilities but they are being hunted by mage assassins and every step they take, the Consillium seems to already be there. Meanwhile back in Vancouver the MPD are arresting mythics and imprisoning them in an unknown location.

The very last book (I think) in Annette Marie’s Guild Codex is a thumper. It brings all the characters from the 4 series’ together for one final good vs. evil battle.

This book is not a stand alone, at the very least you should read the other 5 books (and one novella) in the Guild Codex: Warped series. But you could have a good few months of reading if you go to the very beginning and start at the Guild Codex: Spellbound and work your way through Demonised and Unveiled.
