Mystery

In short order Joy dumps her boyfriend, insults a customer, loses her job for insulting a customer, adopts a dog and takes over a dog walking business. While walking one of her dogs she stumbles upon the body of a murdered man and after the police start looking in her direction she decides to investigate.

I had never heard of this author before last week, a post from her popped up in my feed in which she shared a message from someone who described her as a ‘stain on the literary world’. The person doing the insulting also said she would not read this author’s books even if they were free which raises the obvious question, if she has never read the book how does she know it’s bad. 

You can bet I read the book and I’m going to say it’s really very good. I’m reminded in a small way of Jack Reacher only female. I liked it so much that I immediately bought the next two books in the series.
